Shells Vintage Hat Co. is looking for a part-time Financial Strategy Advisor to support founder-level financial decision-making.

This is not a full-time CFO role and not a corporate executive position. We’re looking for a practical, self-sufficient finance partner who has experience helping small businesses make smart, real-world financial decisions.

This role is for someone who:

• Has hands-on experience making business finance decisions
• Can improve cash flow and capital efficiency
• Helps pressure-test decisions before money is committed
• Is comfortable holding a founder accountable
• Works independently and communicates clearly
  

You’ll help advise on decisions like:

• When (and when not) to use loans, credit, or financing
• How to prioritize cash use across inventory, marketing, and operations
• Short-term cash flow planning and tradeoffs
• Evaluating risk vs return on growth decisions
  

Structure & Compensation

• Part-time, monthly retainer-based advisory role
• Scope and compensation clearly defined upfront
